There are many other cemeteries and churchyards that are in use. Some may belong a Church of England diocese, namely Chester and Lichfield in our local area. Others may belong to Parish Councils, Churches or other local municipal councils.

Each authority has its own rules and regulations regarding the memorials allowed within their cemeteries and churchyards. These may be worth knowing when considering a final resting place for a loved one.

Application forms and fees are usually required and again these vary depending on the authority.
