There are currently eight cemeteries within the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, which are managed by the Cemetery Office located at Keele Cemetery. It is also responsible for the records of all the Borough cemeteries.
The office is open from 9am to midday Monday to Friday; afternoon appointments are available but must be made in advance. Telephone 01782 616379
Keele Cemetery
Opened 9th December 2010.
Situated at Keele Road, Keele, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 5AB
Graves available: New, Re-open & Cremated Remains.
Also available is a Woodland Burial area.
A Community Room is available for funeral, burial and memorial services of any denomination and other suitable room hire, e.g. meetings and training.
A Family Research Room is available during office hours where cemetery records can be accessed and members of staff are able to help. There is a charge for this facility and appointments must be made in advance.
Keele University School of Medicine Anatomy Facility Memorial Garden
There is a remembrance garden for those who have donated their body to Keele University for medical education and research. The garden holds a large memorial and seating.
